Activities and Positions

Evan Goldberg, a personal injury trial attorney, is the past President of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA). Their mission is to protect consumers, assure that the wrongly injured have access to justice, and provide the public with ethical and well-trained lawyers.

Mr. Goldberg has also been active in the New York State Bar Association, first chairing a Medical Malpractice Committee within the Association, then serving as the elected Chair of the Trial Lawyers Section and ultimately being elected to the Association’s Executive Committee and House of Delegates, where he helps to govern the 75,000 attorney member organization.  In his current role as Chair of the Legislative Committee, he continues to lobby the State Legislature, the Governor’s office and the United States Congress with respect to victims’ rights.

His verdicts and performance in court have achieved recognition in the media, in “Top Verdicts in New York” listings, as well as by his inclusion in the “Super Lawyer ” list for the New York region.

Government Relations / Lobbying

Evan Goldberg currently chairs the Legislative Policy Committee of the New York State Bar Association. He has spent years dealing with the New York State Legislature, the Governor’s office and the United States Congress with respect to substantive issues and public policy. In addition to personal injury and accident cases, his counsel, advocacy and community-based focus are offered with respect to the following services:
